Project Associate & Trainee (Library Science) for the National Virtual Library Project of the Ministry of Culture

Name of the Post & Number of Vacancies- 

      i) Project Associate – Library Science -(PA-LS)- 15

                     (4 to 5 will posted in Kalyani University, West Bengal or RRRLF Kolkata)

      ii) Library Trainee (TR- LS)-30

                     (8 to 10 will posted in Kalyani University, West Bengal or RRRLF, Kolkata)

 Employer- The National Virtual Library Project, The Ministry of Culture, Govt of India

Location- New Delhi & Kolkata

Salary- Consolidated  Rs. 35, 000/- for PA-LS and Rs. 18, 000/- for TR- LS per month:

Job Duration- Six months (extendable to 3 years based on performance)

Qualification & Experience-

MLIS degree from recognized institutions. Two years experience in cataloguing and indexing. Preference will be given to those who have experience in Koha and DSpace. for   PA-LS 
         &

BLIS degree from recognized institutions. Preference will be given to those who have experience in cataloguing and indexing and working in Koha and DSpace. for TR- LS
