West Bengal govt us going to start virtual library service within 6 months. The main objective is to make books available to people. To get this service u need to have a mail id. Go to the website and with the mail id log into the system u will get the service. Even u can download the apps into ur mobile. U can read any book by requesting after u log into the site. In state there r 2480 public libraries which will also be developed with modern technology. Vedio conferencing will be available. At present there 1 crore 80 lakhs books. There will be a linkage built between school and library. All books of school will be available in libraries. But question is who will do the work.
