Qualification & Experience-
- A Masters Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% of marks(or an equal grade in point scale where ever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
- Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
- Candidates with Ph. D(UGC regulations 2009) are exempted from the minimum eligibility condition of NET /SLET/SET.
Fee:Candidates should draw a Demand Draft of Rs.750/- from any nationalized bank in favor of “The Director, RGUIIIT-Basar” (In case of SC/ST/PH Rs.500/-).

b) Candidates are to apply individually against the posts mentioned at paragraph number 2(a) separately i.e. backlog/vacant posts and new additional requirement posts respectively(Candidates have to apply separately for 2(a)(i) and 2(a)(ii) and send the same to the office).

The University will have the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the Written test/Interview, based on the recommendations of the screening committee constituted as per the regulations for this purpose, to a reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed or by any other condition that it may deem fit.
