ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A Master's degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade for 55% where grading system is practised.
2. A PhD degree in the above discipline and /or allied discipline with a consistently good academic record.
3. At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or eighteen years'experience as a College Librarian.
4. Evidence of innovative library science and organization of published work.
5. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as prescribed by UGC from time to time. The API score shall be calculated as per revised regulations of UGC 2016 (4th Amendment) or as per UGC regulations amended from time to time.
Applicant must upload the duly filled up API sheet in the online application form. Further, a print out of API sheet along with all necessary documentary evidence and a print out of the confirmation email/registration slip should be sent to the University and it should reach the University within one week from the last date of submission of the online application form. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A Master's degree in library science/information science/documentation with at least 55%
of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.
2. Five years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.
3. Evidence of innovative library services, published work, professional commitment and
computerization of library.
4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based
Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as prescribed by UGC from time to time. The
API score shall be calculated as per revised regulations of UGC 2016 (4th Amendment) or
