Qualification & Experience- 

•  Masters degree in Library Science/ Information Science/Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with 6.5 CGPA in 10point scale

•  Qualifiing  National Eligibility Test Conducted for the propose of UGC or any other agency approved by UGC.

 However, PhD holder candidates ( accordance with UGC, Regulation 2009 ) shall be exempted from the minimum required  NET/SLET/SET for qualification

• 5 years Experience as a Library and Information Assistant or Library and Inforrmation Office in GP 4200/4600 from central or State  educational and research institute of national repute. 

Desirable-

• PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking orPGDCA or eouivalent.
• Minimum 5 years working experience with GP of Rs. 4600/-in a Central Educational Institute.
