A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline followed by Master of
Library and Information Science (MLISc) OR Master's Degree
in any discipline with Bachelor of Library and Information
Science (BLISc) OR Associateship in Documentation and
Information Science awarded by DRTC or its equivalent.
Components of training : Advanced Training in Library Acquisition of Print and Electronic Resources, Classification
& Cataloguing System, Automated Circulation System, Digital Library Information System,
Information Management & Services, Information Retrieval and Dissemination, etc.

Last date of receiving application : Aug 30, 2017 (Wednesday) [5.00 pm]
Notification of shortlisted candidates : Aug 31, 2017 (Thursday)
Date of written test : Sep 12, 2017 (Tuesday) (Time: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.)

Trainees would be expected to work on any of the two shifts including night shifts (till 10 pm) and holidays. Hall/Hostel accommodation
may be provided on subject to availability. The applications other than in this format or incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
