Scale of pay :- Rs.9,300-34,800/- With G.P- 4,600/- (Pre-Revised)

Qualification :- Master Degree in Library Science.

Experience :- Minimum 20 years of Experience in Library work and in setting up and

maintaining state-of-art library facilities and overall management and improvement of library out of which 15 years as Assistant Librarian in Government / Autonomous Institute/ College/University of the State in the scale of pay of Rs.9300-34,800/- with Grade pay of Rs.4,200/-. Preference will be

given to those who have higher qualification such as Ph.D in Library Science and PGDLAN (Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking).

Desirable Skill :- Candidate should have knowledge in the setting up and maintaining state-of-art

library facilities, framing policies, budgeting, Stock and Store, IT enablement and overall management of the library and its continuous improvement. Age of retirement is 60 years. Maximum age as on the last date of receipt of application is not more than 57 years . The Authority reserves the right to short list the candidate. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Fresh selected candidates will be governed by New Pension Scheme as per rule.
