Duration : The duration of traineeship will be for one year from the date of joining . 
Remuneration: Consolidated stipend of Rs. 2 0 ,000/ - per month . 


Age-  Not  exceeding 26 years as on  14th July , 201 8 ( the date of test & interview ). Relaxation  for SC, ST, PD  and OBC  category candidates  (Up to Age Limit - 31 years ) & OBC (Up to Age Limit - 29  years) will be applicable as per Govt. of India rules


Essential Qualifications: 
Master s in Library & Information Science  ( M.L.I.Sc.)  or equivalent  with  First Class Nature of Traineeship :  Learn while you work on different functions & services of  the  library. 

Instruction-

• The  selected  candidates  will  work  from  Monday - Saturday  ( six  days  a  week)  and  be  ready  to  work  in  different shifts and week ends on rotation basis. 
• No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending  the  written test & interview . 
• Selection of candidates will be based on their consistent  good  academic record & performance in  the written test &  personal interview. 

How to Apply- Interested  candidates  who  meet  the  above  mentioned  requirements may  send  their  application  through  ONLINE form  by  13th July ,  2018 and directly  come  for  the  written  test  & interview  without waiting for a call letter. The written test will be in English. Candidates are requested  to bring with them the certificates (original & one set of photocopy) in support of date of birth,  qualifications     &     category.  For     any     query/clarification     you     may     write     us     at  librarytrainees@iitgn.ac.in Candidates  who  have  appeared  for  their  final  year  examination and  are  expecting  the  results  before the test & interview date may also apply, but must  produce the final marks sheet at the  time  of  test  &  interview or  at  the  time  of  joining ,  in  proof  of  them  having  passed the  examination in FIRST CLASS without which , on selection, the candidate will not be allowed  to  join the traineeship .
