Qualification & Experience- 
Essential- M.Lib. / Master in Library and Information Science
Computer - A Candidate must possess besides the prescribed qualifications
(i) CCC / CCC+ level Certificate, or;
(ii) Should have Degree / Diploma from any recognized University /
Educational Institution with computer as one of the Subjects, or;
(iii) Should have passed SSC or HSC examination from recognized
School Board with Computer as one of the Subjects, or Courses
prescribed by the Government

• Qualified National Level Test conducted for the purpose (NET/SET/SLET) by the UGC or any other agency provided by UGC
• However who have been awarded ph.D degree accordance with the UGC regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the  requirement of minimum qualification NET/SET/SLET
