Qualification & Experience-
1. Masters degree in Library Science/Information Science / Documentation with at least 55 % marks or equvalent grade of B in UGC 7 points scale & Consistently good academic record
2. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 years as a University/ National Institute/College Librarian of which at least 3 years as Deputy Librarian
OR
M.Phil / Ph.D Degree in Libary Science /Information Science / Documentation/ Archives and Manuscript keeping with 10 years experience as University/ National Institute/College Librarian of which at least 3 years as Deputy Librarian
