Librarian in the Government Engineering and Technological colleges in wbgs under the department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal.

Post : Librarian

No. of post : 03 (Three) [One each reserved for SC, ST & OBC category ‘B’ (non-creamy layer) candidates]

Pay Scale : Rs.15,600/- – Rs.39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/

Age Limit : Not exceeding 36 years

Qualification : 

(A) Essential :

(i) A good academic record with at least a high second class (B+) or 55% marks in Master Degree in Library Science or equivalent plus a second class Master Degree in a subject other than Library Science from a recognized University.

(B) Desirable :

(i) Good power of expression in Bengali- spoken and written.
(ii) Knowledge in any Indian Language, other than the mother tongue and English.
(iii) Experience in the post of Librarian in any recognized Institution.

NOTE: Offline payment of fees can be made up to the 20th August, 2019 at any branches of UBI. However, the Challan for making the payment in bank should be generated by the 19th August, 2019.
