 Librarian Grade-I

Name of Department: Directorate of Higher Education
Number of posts: 08 posts (UR-5, ST-1, OBC-2)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years (Relaxable for Government servants upto five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time).
Level of Pay: Level - 5 

Essential
(1) Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Science of a recognized University or its equivalent.
(2) Three years experience in a Library recognised by the Government.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Librarian Grade-II

Name of Department: Directorate of Higher Education
Number of posts: 08 posts (UR-5, ST-1, OBC-2)
Age Limit:  Not exceeding 45 years
Level of Pay: Level - 4

Essential
(1) Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Science of a recognized University or its equivalent.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
